Blueprint nodes

Every DS node of the DualSense function library, with inputs, defaults and ranges.

All nodes are static: call them from any Blueprint, no component or reference needed. They live in the DualSense category of the node palette; type DS to list them.

Every node that talks to a controller has a Controller Id input (default 0, the first controller). See Multiple controllers.

The DS Set ..., DS Stop ... and DS Reset ... nodes only change the stored state. DS Update Output sends it to the controller.

DualSense

NodeInputsNotes
DS Update OutputController IdSends the stored output state (lightbar, LEDs, rumble, triggers) in one write. Skipped when nothing changed.
DS Is Controller ConnectedController IdPure. true if a controller is connected in that slot.
DS Get Connected Controller CountPure. Number of connected controllers, 0–4.
DS Reset Controller StateController IdClears everything: lightbar off, LEDs off, no rumble, both triggers off.
DS Set Full Output StateOutput State (FDS5OutputState), Controller IdReplaces the whole state at once.

DualSense | Lights

NodeInputsNotes
DS Set Lightbar ColorColor (Linear Color), Controller IdComponents sent as 0–1 → 0–255, no sRGB conversion.
DS Disable LightbarController IdLightbar off.
DS Set Player LEDsPreset (EPlayerLedPreset), Brightness = High, Fade = false, Controller IdPlayer 1–4 patterns.
DS Set Player LEDs (Bitmask)Bitmask (EPlayerLed), Brightness = High, Fade = false, Controller IdAny combination of the five LEDs.
DS Set Mic LEDState (EMicLed: Off, On, Pulse), Controller Id

DualSense | Rumble

NodeInputsNotes
DS Set RumbleLeft (Heavy) 0–1, Right (Soft) 0–1, Controller IdStays on until changed.
DS Stop RumbleController IdBoth motors to 0.

DualSense | Triggers

NodeInputsNotes
DS Set Trigger EffectHand (Left Trigger, Right Trigger, Both Triggers), Effect (FDS5TriggerEffect), Controller Id
DS Stop TriggerHand, Controller IdTrigger moves freely.

Effect builders

Pure nodes that return an FDS5TriggerEffect. Details and feel of each effect: Adaptive triggers.

Legacy

In DualSense | Triggers | Legacy, for projects coming from v1. Parameters on the raw 0–255 scale.

NodeInputs
DS Make Trigger Continuous Resistance (Legacy)Start (0–255), Force (0–255)
DS Make Trigger Section Resistance (Legacy)Start (0–255), End (0–255), Force (0–255)
