v2.1 · Unreal Engine 5.7 and 5.8

Unofficial DualSense Plugin for Unreal Engine

Adaptive triggers, lightbar, player LEDs, rumble and native input for the PlayStation 5 controller. Plug it in, use the DS Blueprint nodes or the C++ API, and feel it in your game.

Everything the DualSense can do, as Unreal nodes

    Adaptive triggers
    12 effects (Weapon, Bow, Feedback, Vibration, Machine, Galloping and more) plus raw bytes, with parameters in readable zones from 0 to 9.
    Native input
    The controller is a real Unreal input device: Enhanced Input, Input Mapping Contexts and the PS, Touchpad and Mic buttons. No RawInput setup.
    Lightbar and LEDs
    Any lightbar colour, player indicator presets, brightness, fade and the mute button LED.
    Rumble and Force Feedback
    Direct rumble control, or Unreal's own Play Force Feedback and Force Feedback Effect assets, trigger resistance included.
    Up to 4 controllers
    USB and Bluetooth, DualSense and DualSense Edge. A controller that reconnects gets its slot and its output back.
    Blueprints and C++
    A static DS node library for Blueprints, a Game Instance Subsystem and typed structs for C++.

Upgrading from v1?

v2 is a rewrite: native input instead of RawInput, a node library instead of the controller component, and trigger effects that finally match what the hardware does. The migration guide walks you through it.
